Work hit me so hard that it destroyed both my physical and mental health
The last two weeks were probably the worst time in my life.

The last two weeks were probably the worst time in my life. I suddenly broke down without knowing the exact reasons. It was probably because I was facing big challenges at work. Due to the recent workload, I became so stressed and wasn't getting enough sleep each day. I worked overtime every night after regular hours. My official schedule is from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, but I was leaving the office almost at 7:00 PM every day. Then, I would continue working after dinner and a shower, usually from 9:30 PM until midnight. I felt so exhausted every day. My eyes started to feel blurry and painful while driving my motorbike back home, and I felt more and more down day by day.
I started to feel tired all the time and didn't want to go to work anymore. I wanted to quit my job and relax for a while before finding a new one. I needed to refresh my life and figure out what to do next. My current job is making me feel sick every day. The only thing that encourage me to go to work was my team. I have a great team—they are supportive and friendly.
I started to worry about my condition, but then I told myself I couldn't let those problems control my life. So, I wrote down the issues along with simple solutions to follow, and I hope they work well.
Gardening and cooking
Watching comedy, dramas or movies
Talking to family more than before
Meditating before sleep
Exercising 2–3 days a week
Practicing self-love and eating well
Avoiding overthinking
Staying positive
Taking a break from work
Staying off social media
Today, I feel much fresher and clearer. I don't feel like I hate my job the way I did yesterday. In case any of you are going through a similar situation, you can try following the list above, and I hope it helps you as much as it helped me. The list is very simple and easy to follow.
The most important points on the list are practicing self-love, eating well, and staying positive. We must love ourselves and nourish our bodies because these are the first steps toward building physical strength. We shouldn't let ourselves be sick both mentally and physically at the same time. Try to stay positive as much as you can. Everything will eventually be fine as time goes by. It may take time, but it always works—believe me. It has happened to me often, and I always let time heal my wounds. Before long, I feel better again and can start a new day with a smile and hope.
